The book takes no position as to whether or not atomic bombs do exist. It merely presents the evidence that no nuclear bombs were detonated in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Well, obviously Nuclear Weapons exist... except for either Russian Bots or people that have a serious brain damage. Book is not good, tried to read it but it is so confusing and not even close to being logical that i had to stop or else I would become like everyone else who would agree with any word that doc said.

This is a good book explaining why no atomic bombs exploded in Japan 1945. I and my Japanese friends may have inspired it to be written. And I happened to work in Japan 1972/6 due to friend of the family - Manne Siegbahn, Nobel Prize winner physics 1923 - told me 1964 to avoid physics and nuclear weapon design as a career. Manne had 1945 been asked by the Swedish government to secretly build a Swedish atomic bomb and Manne agreed subject to it not being secret!! So I went into shipbuilding instead, which is much more complex than nuclear weapons design. I recommend the book.

From the Introduction: "The detonation of the a nuclear bomb above Hiroshima marks the beginning of the ‘atomic age.’ Isn’t this an incontrovertible historic fact? Most people probably would say so. Yet, there were those who refused to believe it, at least in the beginning; and among them were leading nuclear physicists, including Werner Heisenberg. In time, however, the world became convinced that the story was true. Why doubt it?"
I had heard of this little-known controversy before, but hadn't paid much attention. This book makes its case compelling and totally convinced me. Because of his special expertise in medecine (he is a MD), the author brings new arguments for questionning the story. His analysis of the purpose of the whole thing is also very plausible in the view of our current situation. From the conclusion: "The staged bombings were acts of state terror, directed at the international general public: general fear of impeding nuclear war should induce the people to voluntarily surrender their national sovereignty and submit to a world government."
